Job summary

Palms at Venice in Venice, Florida is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team in a resident-centered environment dedicated to restoring mobility, strength, and independence.

The PT will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide interventions to improve mobility, balance, and endurance, while educating residents and families on safety and adaptive techniques.

Qualifications

• Current Florida Physical Therapist license is required.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing or Post-Acute Care preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, balance, strength, and endurance.
• Educate residents and families on safety, mobility, and adaptive techniques.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Participate in care plan meetings and discharge planning.
