Job summary

The Palms of Sebring is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate and treat residents in a skilled nursing environment. This full-time role also offers per diem opportunities with consistent hours weekly and collaborative team support.

You will design individualized treatment plans, promote mobility and safety, and document progress in compliance with state and federal regulations. Competitive benefits and scheduling flexibility are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, balance, strength, and functional performance.
• Assist residents in achieving safe and optimal movement for daily activities.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other therapy disciplines regarding treatment progress.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapeutic exercises, safety techniques, and mobility strategies.
