Job summary

Alumus in Surprise, AZ is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide and direct physical therapy services for guests, including assessment, treatment planning, and documentation under physicians’ orders. You will supervise PTAs and guide patients in exercises.

Qualifications

• Newly credentialed grads are welcome to apply.
• Must be a graduate of an approved educational program in Physical Therapy.
• Must have the ability to interact well with patients, family members, physicians, supervisor and staff

Responsibilities

• Screening patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunction and developing a treatment plan.
• Providing guidance and direction to Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA's).
• Teaching patients how to properly use therapeutic exercise techniques.
• Maintaining patient records and keeping track of goals and progress.
• Advising the patient and family about in-home treatment options and exercises.
