Job summary

New graduates are welcome. A valid state license is required, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Educational/Physical Therapy program.
• Must possess a valid state Physical Therapy license.
• Ability to interact well with patients, families, physicians, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Screening patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunction and developing a treatment plan.
• Providing guidance and direction to Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA's).
• Teaching patients how to properly use therapeutic exercise techniques.
• Maintaining patient records and tracking goals and progress.
• Advising the patient and family about in-home treatment options and exercises.
