Job summary

Alumus in Chandler, AZ, is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide and direct PT services to guests under physician orders. You will assess, treat, plan programs, document and communicate care within a team that values patient advocacy and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy program.
• Valid state license.
• Ability to interact well with patients, families, physicians, supervisor and staff.

Responsibilities

• Screening patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunction and developing a treatment plan.
• Providing guidance and direction to Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA's).
• Teaching patients how to properly use therapeutic exercise techniques.
• Maintaining patient records and keeping track of goals and progress.
• Advising the patient and family about in-home treatment options and exercises.
