Job summary

STAR Physical Therapy is seeking a licensed physical therapist to join our Murfreesboro, TN team. You will conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress in our EMR system while supervising support staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• New or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Current state licensure in the employment state.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to work efficiently in an autonomous environment.
• Basic PC skills including EMR, database software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assess ROM, strength, posture, balance and daily activity independence.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluations.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports per facility procedures.
• Interact professionally with patients, families, and staff.
• Supervise PT assistants, therapists, technicians and students in patient care.
• Contribute to program development and participate in professional growth activities.
• Assist in outreach community events as directed by the Clinic Director.
• Adhere to state practice acts and APTA code of ethics.
