Job summary

Reliant Rehabilitation seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality therapy to patients across care communities in Texas. The role involves patient intake, evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge planning in accordance with Reliant Rehabilitation standards.

The position may be offered as Full-time or PRN, with opportunities for clinical leadership development and ongoing mentorship within a large contract therapy network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Maximize patient function and independence through direct and supervised physical therapy
• Provide clinical oversight and consultation to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs)
• Supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs during individual and group treatments, ensuring efficient resource use and skill development
• Establish and grow a robust physical therapy program
• Advance clinical and leadership skills through collaboration, self-study, and continuing education
• Maintain a valid state license and stay informed on industry trends and healthcare regulations
• Understand billing models and deliver care aligned with treatment guidelines and expected outcomes
• Adhere to infection control and environmental safety protocols
• Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Maintain confidentiality as appropriate and ensure compliance with the state practice act in the state(s) where you are licensed
