Responsibilities

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results
• Review physician prescription and patient records to determine required PT treatment
• Provide direct patient care by established protocols and guidelines
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
• Oversee care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
• Develop a plan of care with goals and comprehensive program to attain them
• Implement treatment programs and provide essential PT treatments
• Communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurers
• Ensure timely documentation including notes, reports, and discharge summaries
