Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current state South Carolina license.
• CPR certification.
• Exercise, sports rehab, and manual-based skills.
• Outgoing and energetic personality.
• Responsible with a solid work ethic.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• New or recent graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results.
• Review the physician's referral and patient records to determine required physical therapy treatment.
• Provide direct patient care by established protocols and guidelines.
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
• Coordinate patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Complete a written plan of care, set goals, and develop a comprehensive program.
• Implement physical therapy treatment programs and provide essential therapies.
• Communicate with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies.
• Ensure timely documentation: daily notes, weekly reports, progress reports, evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports.
