Job summary

Able Health Care Service is hiring Fee for Service Physical Therapists to serve Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Nassau and Suffolk. You will design and implement individualized treatment plans addressing motor skills, cognition, and sensory regulation, and document progress in a timely manner.

The role requires New York State PT license; new graduates are welcome. All visits are in-person, with after-school and weekend availability, and flexible schedules in the NY metro area.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid New York State PT license.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience in acute or home care preferred (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans addressing motor skills, cognition, and sensory regulation.
• Complete documentation in a timely manner.
• Educate and train Home Health Aides to carryover therapy goals.

• All visits are in-person and occur at client homes.

Here follows information about the position:

We are looking to hire Fee for Service Physical Therapists for Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Nassau and Suffolk locations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for

• Design and implement individualized treatment addressing skill areas such as fine, gross, and visual motor, sensory and emotional regulation, cognition, etc. as they relate to child and adult occupations.
• Complete documentation in a timely manner.
• Educate and train Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide carryover of sills addressed in therapy.
• Complete documentation in a timely manner.
• Following through with assigned cases/visits. All visits are in-person.

Minimum requirements

• Valid New York State Professional License
• New graduates are welcome to apply

Additional Abilities

The candidate will have one year of acute care or home care experience in their area of specialty. Good organization and communication skills and ability to function with minimal supervision and provide a reliable means of transportation are required.

Pay Range $80,000 to $110,000

Sign-On Bonus $2,500 for Full-time; Prorated for Part-Time and Per-Diem
