Job summary

Able Health Care Service is seeking a Fee-for-Service Physical Therapist to serve clients across Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Nassau and Suffolk. The role is non-management and contract-based.

Consolidated responsibilities include direct therapy and collaboration with care teams. The ideal candidate will design and implement individualized therapy addressing motor skills, cognition, and sensory regulation; complete timely documentation; and educate Home Health Aides to carry over therapy goals.

Here follows information about the position:

We are looking to hire Fee for Service Physical Therapists for Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Nassau and Suffolk locations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for

• Design and implement individualized treatment addressing skill areas such as fine, gross, and visual motor, sensory and emotional regulation, cognition, etc. as they relate to child and adult occupations.
• Complete documentation in a timely manner.
• Educate and train Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide carryover of sills addressed in therapy.
• Complete documentation in a timely manner.
• Following through with assigned cases/visits. All visits are in-person.

Minimum requirements

• Valid New York State Professional License
• New graduates are welcome to apply

Additional Abilities

The candidate will have one year of acute care or home care experience in their area of specialty. Good organization and communication skills and ability to function with minimal supervision and provide a reliable means of transportation are required.

Pay Range $80,000 to $110,000

• Sign-On Bonus $1,500 for Full-time; Prorated for Part-Time and Per-Diem
