Mercy – NWA Clinic Sugar Creek in Arkansas seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to assess and treat adult and geriatric patients in a full-time role. You will supervise rehab technicians and PT assistants as required and deliver care aligned with Mercy standards and mission.

Education must include state licensure in Physical Therapy (DPT/MS/BS+PT) with current BLS certification. Prior rehab experience with adults/geriatrics is preferred to support diverse patient needs.

Formación

• Active state licensure in Physical Therapy.
• Eligible for or holding a Doctorate/Master's in Physical Therapy.
• Current BLS certification.
• Six months to one year of rehab experience preferred for adult/geriatric patients.

Responsabilidades

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and supervise rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants as applicable.
• Deliver therapy services in accordance with Mercy standards and policies.

Under the general supervision of Therapy Leadership and according to departmental policies and procedures regarding referral, standards of treatment, performs objective assessments, as well as comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. Responsible for direct supervision to patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians. General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Requirements:

Education: Current State license of Physical Therapy. Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

Licensure: Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.

Certifications: BLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.

Preferred Experience: Six months to one year experience is preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist. Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
