Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare in Virginia is seeking a licensed physical therapist to provide PT services across patient ages, including assessments, treatment planning, and implementation of the plan of care. You will document progress and collaborate with other disciplines while supervising students as assigned.

The role requires active APTA membership eligibility, Virginia license or reciprocal state, and BLS CPR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy bachelor's.
• Eligible member of APTA.
• Valid Physical Therapy License from Virginia or reciprocal compact state required.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required.
• Professional competency as a general practitioner as defined by the American Physical Therapy Association.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients for goal settings, treatment planning with implementation of the POC.
• Record and document patient evaluation, treatment, and progress to accurately reflect the services provided and patient performance.
• Supervises therapy personnel/students as assigned.
• Keeps current knowledge of new programs and treatments and/or participate in special projects in the physical therapy field.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
