Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for MHPT at Lafayette Center. The role involves comprehensive PT services, patient evaluations, treatment planning, and discharge planning, with emphasis on varied evaluation and treatment approaches and excellent patient communication.

The Physical Therapist will contribute to program planning, collaborate with the team, and assist in education and mentoring of staff and students within a large health system recognized for its quality care

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Maryland, DC and/or Virginia licensure as deemed necessary for your location(s).
• American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides evaluation services and documents results.
• Implements treatment protocols based on evaluation and patient needs.
• Completes discharge planning and progress notes.
• Manages scheduling and aims for productive patient access.
• Serves as clinical instructor and mentors staff and students.
