Job summary

Nyman Associates, Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapist to support children aged 3-5 in early intervention programs in the Philadelphia area.

The role focuses on advancing motor development through targeted movement activities and collaborative goal planning with families and educational teams. The position offers W2 employment with comprehensive benefits, mentoring and clinical leadership support, and opportunities to develop within a multi-state early intervention footprint.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or certification in physical therapy.
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children in pediatric/educational settings preferred.
  • Access to personal transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Assessment of children's motor abilities in natural and educational settings.
  • Development of individualized intervention plans to support physical development.
  • Therapy implementation to address areas of weakness and improve functional mobility.
  • Environmental modifications to enhance children's participation in educational activities.
  • Parent/caregiver education to support carryover of motor skills at home.
  • Session documentation and progress monitoring.
  • Collaboration with all team members, including parents, teachers and related service providers.
