Nyman Associates, Inc. seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to support students in school-based settings. You’ll assess mobility, develop individualized plans, and implement interventions to boost participation and academic success.

You’ll receive mentorship from clinical leads and directors, access diverse placement opportunities, and participate in ongoing professional development within a collaborative, student-centered team.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• APTA certification or eligibility for certification.
• State licensure or eligibility as a physical therapist.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized physical therapy services to students with disabilities or injuries affecting participation in education.
• Assess students' physical abilities to support access and engagement in school.
• Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals.
• Implement interventions to improve motion, mobility, and school participation.
• Conduct therapy assessments and monitor progress.
• Manage adaptations and equipment as needed.
• Develop IEP goals and objectives for therapy outcomes.
• Create fitness and wellness programs tailored to students.
• Deliver high-quality, personalized, evidence-based therapy.
• Collaborate with school teams and document sessions.
