Nyman Associates is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support children ages 3-5 in early intervention across the Philadelphia area. The role offers diverse placement opportunities with mentorship from OT leaders and clinical directors, plus a strong benefits package.

You will assess fine motor and sensory skills, develop individualized plans, and work with families and a multidisciplinary team to promote developmental progress in natural settings.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in the state.
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Ability to travel or commute to EI sites in Philadelphia area.

Responsibilities

• Assess fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities in preschool children (ages 3-5).
• Develop individualized intervention plans to promote independence and address delays.
• Implement therapy activities targeting participation in daily routines and play.
• Environment modifications to support success in home, daycare, preschool and EI classrooms.
• Educate and empower parents/caregivers with strategies to foster progress.
• Document sessions and monitor progress; collaborate with teachers and related service providers.
