Job summary

Banner Rehab Hospital - Tucson is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for a full-time position at 355 North Wilmot Road, Tucson. The hospital provides inpatient rehab for patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other conditions.

You will perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, set goals, develop and adjust treatment plans, and contribute to discharge planning while supervising PTs and PTAs. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT).
• Certified BLS or obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performing initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.
• Setting goals and developing treatment plans.
• Working cooperatively to identify and solve patient-specific and facility-wide needs.
• Participating in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment.
• Supervising Physical Therapy Assistants and PT/PTA students.
• Conducting individual patient therapy regimens.
• Monitoring patient’s response to treatment and modifying treatment during sessions.
• Completing documentation according to department policies and procedures.
• Participating in seminars and in-services.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
