Select Medical's Day Neuro Institute in Tucson seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. You will perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote functional recovery and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT).
• Certified BLS or obtain it within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.

• Teach and counsel patients/families.
• Set goals and develop treatment plans.
• Discharge planning with patient/family education and adaptive equipment.

• Monitoring patient's response to treatment and modifying treatment during sessions, as needed.
• Completing appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
• Participating in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.

Minimum Qualifications

• State Licensure: Hold a current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Certified BLS: Possess Certified BLS or obtain it within 90 days of employment.
