Day Shift, while in inpatient acute and inpatient rehab: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; while in outpatient setting: Monday-Friday, variable schedule 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Summary:
The PT Clinical Resident is a licensed clinician with strong clinical knowledge and skills, pursuing specialization in physical therapy with the goal of achieving board certification. The resident will acquire advanced evidence-based clinical knowledge and skills while working with clinical specialist physical therapists and advanced practitioners. The residency program is designed to enhance the resident's knowledge and skills through higher education, evidence-based practice, and management of focused patient populations via mentored experiences. In addition to direct patient care, the resident has clinical and nonclinical responsibilities including coursework, research, and teaching in their clinical subspecialty. LVHN supports professional development through exposure to clinical opportunities and financial assistance for educational and certification requirements.

Lift and carry 25 lbs., frequent sitting/standing, keyboard use, and activities specific to role including kneeling, bending, squatting, and performing CPR.
