Qualifications

• DPT degree from an accredited program or equivalent qualification.
• Current New York State Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain license.
• Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English.
• Mandarin and/or Cantonese proficiency aligned with patient population.
• Outpatient physical therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to assess mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' conditions, goals, and rehabilitation needs.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, mobility training, and other appropriate rehabilitation interventions.
• Treat patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, musculoskeletal conditions, and movement-related disorders.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical findings and functional improvements.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, posture, and safe movement techniques.
• Communicate diagnoses, treatment goals, exercise instructions, and progress updates in Chinese and English.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, treatment records, and progress reports.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapy Assistants and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Follow applicable clinical guidelines, patient safety standards, and healthcare regulations.

Compensation: $60 $85 per hour

Position Overview: Yong Clinic is seeking a qualified and compassionate Chinese-Bilingual Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitation services and personalized treatment to patients with injuries, mobility limitations, and other physical conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients in both Chinese and English.

Qualifications
