OrthoNY Medical Practice is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our orthopedic service line. You will evaluate patients, design individualized plans, and deliver hands-on therapy to support mobility and function in an outpatient setting.

Work with a collaborative team across orthopedics, spine, sports medicine, and pain management, with a focus on professional development and patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• Current NYS Physical Therapy license is required.
• 2–3 years of outpatient orthopedic experience preferred; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Ability to educate patients and work collaboratively with the care team.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates professionalism in all interactions with patients and staff.
• Performs comprehensive patient evaluations and develops an individualized plan of care.
• Provides hands‑on therapy, therapeutic exercises, and education for recovery.
• Monitors patient progress and adjusts treatment plans to ensure positive outcomes.
• Collaborates with Physical Therapist Assistants to deliver coordinated care.
• Maintains accurate documentation in the EMR per standards.
• Contributes to a positive clinic environment and patient experience.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.

The Physical Therapist will work as a member of the Physical Therapy service line within the OrthoNY Medical Practice consisting of Orthopedic, Spine, Sports Medicine and Pain Management physicians. Our clinic offers integrated care in one convenient center that includes physical therapy, imaging, sports medicine, and an orthopedic injury clinic.Responsibilities

• Demonstrates professionalism in all interactions with patients, colleagues, physicians, and all visitors to the practice;
• Performs comprehensive patient evaluations and develops individualized plan of care in an energetic outpatient physical therapy setting;
• Provides hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercises, and education to support optimal recovery;
• Monitors patient progress and adjusts treatment plans as needed to ensure positive outcomes;
• Collaborates with patients and colleagues, including Physical Therapist Assistants, to provide cohesive and well-coordinated care;
• Maintains accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in the EMR in accordance with regulatory and practice standards;
• Supports a positive clinic environment by contributing to team morale and patient experience
• Other responsibilities as designated by the manager.

Skills & Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic setting preferred however, new graduates are encouraged to apply!
• Current unrestricted New York State Physical Therapy license;
• Experience with a wide range of patient age groups and diagnoses;

• Time management and organization capabilities.
