Job summary

ProgressiveHealth of Indiana, LLC in Mt. Vernon, IL is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join a multi-setting hospital team. You will develop personalized treatment plans and guide patients through exercises and modalities, with supervision of assistants and careful documentation.

Ideal candidates hold an Illinois PT license, a Bachelor's or higher in Physical Therapy, and CPR certification. The role offers a competitive hourly rate and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO,

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an individualized treatment plan using therapeutic exercise and modalities.
• Review patient information, evaluate impact of assessment, and communicate treatment process.
• Revise treatment plans as needed throughout the course of care.
• Instruct patient and family/caregiver in exercises for post-discharge continuation.
• Delegate tasks and supervise PTAs and rehabilitation technicians.
• Complete documentation according to policies and regulations.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Developing and implementing an individualized treatment plan based on patient needs containing achievable functional goals by using therapeutic exercise and modalities, as necessary
  • Reviewing available patient information, evaluating the impact of the assessment, and communicating of the treatment process
  • Revising treatment plans, as needed, throughout the treatment process for patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint, and/or bone diseases
  • Establishing and instructing patient and/or family/caregiver in exercises and therapeutic procedures to be continued following discharge
• Delegating tasks and supervising physical therapist assistants (PTA) and rehabilitation technicians
• Completing appropriate documentation according to Company/department policies and procedures along with adhering to federal and state regulations

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist specific to the State of Illinois
• A Bachelor's or higher in Physical Therapy
• Current CPR certification

Pay rate: $35 - $47/hour (based on experience and certifications, does not include bonus potential)
