Job summary

Trilogy Health Services, LLC in Jasper, Indiana is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support therapy under the direction of a Physical Therapist. The PTA will implement treatment plans, perform exercises, manual therapies, and modalities, and document patient progress.

Requires an Associate Degree and an active PTA license; CPR certification preferred. Travel is minimal, with travel typically less than 10%. Competitive benefits and weekly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required for PTA licensure and practice.
• Must have and maintain a current, valid state PTA licensure or certification.
• Current CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities (e.g., heat, cold, electrical stimulation).
• Observes patient responses to therapy, document their progress, and report findings and any concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Observes and maintain up-to-date documentation related to patients’ responses to therapy, document their progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provides instructions to patients and their families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and strategies to support continued progress at home.
• Supports Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress, providing additional observations and insights.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
