Job summary

United Future is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our clinical team in California. You will carry out skilled treatment programs under a licensed Physical Therapist, document patient activities, and maintain professional communication with patients and staff.

The role requires graduation from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program, an active State license with CPR certification, and the ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited PTA or PT program.
• Current valid State license/registration and CPR certification.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently and stand/walk for most of a shift.

Responsibilities

• Carry out skilled PTA-led treatment programs under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Document patient activities and charges using medical terminology in a timely fashion.
• Maintain respectful dialogue with patients, families, and medical staff.
• Adhere to State Practice Acts, OSHA standards, and Medicare regulations.
