Job summary

Ashton North LLC is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our clinical team in California. You will carry out skilled treatment programs under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and document patient activities and charges in a timely manner.

Responsibilities include maintaining respectful communication with patients, families, and medical staff, and ensuring compliance with State Practice Acts, OSHA standards, and Medicare regulations.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited PTA or PT program.
• Licensure: Current valid State license/registration and CPR certification.
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk most of a shift.
• Skills: Strong teamwork, time management, and active listening.

Responsibilities

• Carry out skilled treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Record patient activities and charges using medical terminology in a timely fashion.
• Maintain respectful dialogue with patients, families, and medical staff.
• Adhere to State Practice Acts, OSHA standards, and Medicare regulations.
