United Future is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our clinical team in Santa Cruz, CA. The PTA will carry out skilled treatment programs under a licensed Physical Therapist, document patient activities, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
We offer a competitive compensation package with sign-on bonuses, student loan assistance, CE reimbursement, and sponsorships for work authorization.
Competenze
- Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited PTA or PT program.
- Current valid State license/registration and CPR certification.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds independently and stand/walk for the majority of a shift.
- Strong teamwork, time management, and active listening skills.
Mansioni
- Carry out skilled treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Record patient activities and charges using medical terminology in a timely fashion.
- Maintain respectful dialogue with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Adhere to State Practice Acts, OSHA standards, and Medicare regulations.
