University Physical Therapy in Roanoke, VA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our orthopedic and sports medicine team. You will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to help patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence after injury or surgery.

You'll deliver evidence-based treatment plans, guide therapeutic exercises, educate on injury prevention and home programs, monitor progress, and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Active Virginia PTA license.
• Outpatient orthopedic or sports medicine experience preferred.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsabilités

Job Description

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll partner closely with our Physical Therapists to help patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence after injury or surgery. You'll play an important role in helping patients achieve their goals and return to the activities they enjoy most.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Deliver evidence-based treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercise programs and hands-on interventions to improve function, mobility, and strength
• Educate patients on injury prevention, recovery strategies, home exercise programs, and long-term wellness
