Pivot Rehabilitation is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Richardson, TX team, providing hands-on support to the licensed therapist and assisting with patient care and documentation.

Candidates must graduate from an accredited PTA program, hold a current Texas license, and communicate clearly with patients, families, and the rehab team; the role includes competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current license in practicing state (Texas).
• Good communication skills and ability to relate professionally to patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Treats patients as directed by the physical therapist.
• Records treatments given in the medical record.
• Participates in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings.
• Communicates with supervising therapist and rehab director regarding patient progress.
• Participates in facility in-service training programs.
• Records daily treatments and labor according to corporate procedures and state PT rules.
