Job summary

Centra Healthcare is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a SNF/LTC contract in Yuma, AZ. The PTA will deliver skilled therapy per physician orders under PT supervision and participate in care planning with an interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will hold an Associate's degree, current PTA license, and CPR certification, with a commitment to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must have earned an Associates degree from an accredited school.
• Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA or in process for licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services under the supervision of a Registered/Licensed PT.
• Implement and modify the PT plan of treatment under the supervision of a Registered/Licensed PT.
• Collaborates effectively within an interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals.

Job Description:

A great SNF / LTC is looking for an experienced or newly graduated Physical Therapist Assistant / Physical Therapy Assistant / PTA to join their growing team for a contract assignment!

• This is a contract position.
• Days schedule.
• This role assumes responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission and critical goals of the organization into their job performance.

Requirements include:

• Must have earned an Associates degree from an accredited school.
• Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant / Physical Therapy Assistant / PTA.
• Current CPR certification.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders and under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist / PT.
• Implement and modify the patient's physical therapy plan of treatment under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist / PT .
• Effectively collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to meet patients goals.
