Job summary

Centra Healthcare Solutions Inc is seeking an experienced or newly graduated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a contract assignment in Grass Valley, California. This role involves providing skilled physical therapy services and working under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist.
• Use physical treatment procedures such as massages, electrical stimulation, paraffin baths, hot and cold packs, traction, ultrasound, and other assigned exercises to improve mobility and relieve pain.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Implement and modify the patient's physical therapy plan of treatment under supervision.
• Effectively collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals.
