Job summary

Centra Healthcare Solutions Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a contract assignment in Massachusetts. We welcome experienced or newly graduated PTAs to join our growing team and deliver skilled therapy services in a SNF/LTC setting.

The PTA will provide interventions under the supervision of a Licensed Therapist, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and participate in ongoing patient care and goal achievement.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current state PTA license or in process for licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Provide skilled PTA services under supervision of a PT.
• Implement and modify treatment plans under PT supervision.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services according to physician orders.
• Carry out and adjust the patient’s treatment plan under PT supervision.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other therapists for patient care.
• Document progress and respond to changes in patient status.

A great SNF / LTC is looking for an experienced or newly graduated Physical Therapist Assistant / Physical Therapy Assistant / PTA to join their growing team for a contract assignment!This is a contract position.Days schedule.This role assumes responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission and critical goals of the organization into their job performance.

Requirements include:

• Must have earned an Associates degree from an accredited school.
• Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant / Physical Therapy Assistant / PTA.
• Current CPR certification.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders and under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist / PT.
• Implement and modify the patient's physical therapy plan of treatment under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist / PT .
• Effectively collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to meet patients goals.
