Concept Rehab is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Columbus rehabilitation team. You will deliver skilled PT treatments to patients recovering from surgery, illness, or hospitalization, helping them regain mobility and independence.

This role emphasizes hands-on care, teamwork, and compassionate patient engagement. Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited PTA program with an active Ohio PTA license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Ohio PTA license in good standing.
• Geriatric/post-acute rehab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled physical therapy treatments according to established plans of care.
• Assist patients in improving mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional performance.
• Support gait training, transfer training, fall prevention, and therapeutic exercise programs.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress with supervising therapists.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safety techniques and home exercise recommendations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge preparation.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current Ohio PTA license in good standing
• Skilled nursing, geriatric, or post-acute rehabilitation experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Excellent organization and documentation skills
