Job summary

Concept Rehab is seeking a flexible PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Oak Harbor, OH rehabilitation team. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to advance patient strength, mobility, balance and independence.

This PRN role focuses on compassionate care, collaboration with staff, and providing quality documentation while building meaningful patient relationships. Prior SNF or senior rehab exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the therapy team.
• Skilled nursing or senior rehabilitation experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy interventions according to the patient’s plan of care.
• Assist patients in achieving functional and mobility goals.
• Monitor and document patient progress.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the rehabilitation team.
• Develop positive relationships with patients and facility staff.

What You'll Do

As a PRN PTA, you'll work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide quality treatment and help patients improve their strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and overall independence.

You’ll also:
