Job summary

York Nursing & Rehab Center is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. This role supports residents in a Skilled Nursing & Long-Term Care setting and offers flexible PRN scheduling with a collaborative team environment.

The PTA will provide treatments under a licensed therapist, implement individualized plans to improve mobility and independence, and document progress in Net Health while complying with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Pennsylvania PTA license required.
• New graduates with SNF/LTC rotations encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
• Monitor resident response and communicate progress with the supervising therapist and interdisciplinary team.
• Accurately complete treatment documentation using Net Health.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and state and federal regulations.
• Support a positive, resident-focused therapy environment.
