Job summary

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers – Lake City, FL is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient team. Work alongside experienced Physical Therapists in a collaborative clinic with flexible hours and a focus on one-on-one care.

You will implement treatment plans, guide patients through exercises, educates on home programs, monitor progress, and maintain accurate documentation. A Florida PTA license and excellent communication are required; new grads welcome.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Outpatient experience is a plus but not required.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate with the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered outpatient care.
