Job summary

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers – Lake City, FL is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient team in Lake City. You will work with supervising Physical Therapists to implement treatment plans and provide one-on-one care to a diverse patient population.

Qualified candidates have an active Florida PTA license or are eligible to obtain one, and possess strong communication and patient care skills.

Qualifications

• Active Florida PTA license or eligibility to obtain.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Outpatient experience is a plus but not required.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate with the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered outpatient care.
