Ultimate Therapy seeks a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for Autumn Lake at Chevy Chase, MD. Join a dedicated rehab team on site and help skilled nursing residents improve daily movement under the supervising Physical Therapist.

You will deliver prescribed therapies, guide exercises, and document outcomes while collaborating with nursing and therapy staff. This role requires Maryland PTA licensure and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Physical Therapist Assistant license.
• Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills.
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care is helpful; new graduates welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed physical therapy interventions within each resident's established plan of care.
• Guide exercises that develop strength, balance, and endurance for daily activities.
• Assist with walking, bed mobility, and transfers with appropriate precautions.
• Reinforce safe movement techniques and use of mobility equipment as prescribed.
• Observe treatment responses and communicate changes to supervising PT.
• Complete timely treatment records and collaborate with nursing and rehabilitation colleagues.

Ultimate Therapy is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant at Autumn Lake at Chevy Chase. Help skilled nursing residents make meaningful progress with everyday movement through hands-on treatment, patient instruction, and coordination with the supervising Physical Therapist.

What You'll Do

• Deliver prescribed physical therapy interventions within each resident's established plan of care.
• Guide exercises that develop strength, balance, and endurance for daily activities.
• Practice walking, bed mobility, and transfers using assistance appropriate to residents' abilities and precautions.
• Reinforce safe movement techniques and proper use of prescribed mobility equipment.
• Observe treatment responses and communicate changes in symptoms, function, or participation to the supervising PT.
• Complete timely treatment records and collaborate with nursing and rehabilitation colleagues to support mobility outside therapy sessions.
