Job summary

Centra Healthcare Solutions seeks an experienced or new graduate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a Skilled Nursing Facility / Long Term Care team in California. This direct hire position offers a day schedule and the chance to contribute to patient care under a licensed PT.

You will provide skilled PT services, implement PT plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to help patients reach their goals in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must have earned an Associates degree from an accredited school.
• Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA or actively applying for licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services / interventions under physician orders and supervision of a Licensed PT.
• Implement and modify the patient’s PT plan of treatment under supervision of a Licensed PT.
• Collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to meet patients goals.

A great Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) / Long Term Care (LTC) is looking for an experienced or newly graduated Physical Therapist Assistant / Physical Therapy Assistant / PTA to join their growing team! This is a direct hire / 'perm' position. Days schedule. This role assumes responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission and critical goals of the organization into their job performance.

Requirements

• Must have earned an Associates degree from an accredited school.
• Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant / Physical Therapy Assistant / PTA.
• Current CPR certification.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders and under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist / PT.
• Implement and modify the patient's physical therapy plan of treatment under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist / PT.
• Effectively collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to meet patients goals.
