Overview

A great SNF / LTC is looking for an experienced or newly graduated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their growing team for a contract assignment.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will provide skilled physical therapy services, including:

• Massage
• Electrical stimulation
• Paraffin baths
• Hot and cold packs
• Traction
• Ultrasound and other assigned exercises

Implement and modify the patient's physical therapy plan of treatment under supervision, and collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals.

Qualifications

• Earned an Associate’s degree from an accredited school.
• Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant or actively in the process of obtaining licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
