Job summary

Centra Healthcare Solutions Inc in North Carolina is seeking an experienced or newly graduated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a SNF/LTC team on a contract basis.

The PTA will provide skilled therapy under the supervision of a licensed PT, implement and adjust treatment plans, and work with an interdisciplinary team to achieve patient goals. This assignment offers competitive pay, housing accommodations, and Centra's local contract benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold current state PTA license or be actively in the licensure process.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services per physician orders and under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Implement and modify the patient’s PT plan of treatment under supervision.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled PTA services to SNF/LTC patients.
• Adjust and progress treatment plans as directed by supervising PT.
• Document patient progress and coordinate with care team.

Requirements include:

• Must have earned an Associates degree from an accredited school.
• Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant / Physical Therapy Assistant / PTA.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders and under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist / PT.
• Implement and modify the patient's physical therapy plan of treatment under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist / PT.
• Effectively collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to meet patients goals.
