Job summary

Mind & Mobility is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant to provide in-home care for Medicare Part B patients in the Miami area under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The role requires implementing treatment plans and delivering skilled therapy during home visits to improve mobility, strength, and safety.

The position is an Independent Contractor (1099) with flexible scheduling, direct deposit, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license in the state of practice.
• Experience in home health or outpatient therapy.
• Knowledge of Medicare Part B documentation and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide skilled therapy to improve mobility, strength, balance, and function.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety techniques, and fall prevention.
• Document patient progress accurately and in compliance with Medicare Part B guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with the supervising PT and the therapy team.
• Monitor patient response to therapy and report progress or concerns.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide in-home care for Medicare Part B patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. In this role, you will assist in implementing individualized treatment plans, deliver skilled therapy to improve mobility, strength, and function, and educate patients on exercises and safety strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide skilled therapy interventions to improve patients' mobility, strength, balance, and function.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety techniques, and fall prevention strategies.
• Document patient progress accurately and in compliance with Medicare Part B guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and the interdisciplinary home health/ therapy team.
• Monitor patient response to therapy and report progress or concerns to the Physical Therapist.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment during home visits.

Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of practice.
• Experience in home health or outpatient therapy preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare Part B documentation and regulations.
• Strong patient care, treatment implementation, and communication skills.
• Ability to follow treatment plans accurately and report patient progress.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Comfortable working independently and managing a flexible, home-based schedule.
• CPR and other relevant certifications as required.
