Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in South Carolina. You will provide skilled, compassionate care to help patients recover, manage conditions, and live safely at home, while improving outcomes through coordinated care.

You’ll work under the supervising physical therapist, participate in plan of care development, and document progress. A current SC PTA license is required; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Acts at the direction and under the supervision of the treating physical therapist and in accordance with the plan of care.
• Participates in the development and evaluation of the plan of care in partnership with the patient, representative (if any), and caregiver(s).
• Provides services that are ordered by the physician as indicated in the plan of care.
• Assists the treating physical therapist in documenting a patient’s progress and response to treatment.
