Job summary

Pro Rehab in Minnesota is seeking a Certified Physical Therapist Assistant to join a rural team between Belview and Clarkfield. This full-time role offers a wage range of $27-$34 per hour, with benefits eligible and a $2,500 bonus potential.

Under supervision of a licensed physical therapist, you will assist with treatment plans, guide patients through exercises, monitor progress, and document outcomes. New grads are welcome to apply and growth opportunities exist within a 35-year Rehab

Qualifications

• Graduate from an Accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with at least an Associate’s degree.
• Current Minnesota PTA license and ability to practice in long-term care settings.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology with patient-care focus.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English and collaborate with a healthcare team.

As our Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will support patients in improving, regaining, and maintaining their functional mobility and physical abilities under the supervision of a physical therapist. Your responsibilities will include assisting with treatment plans, guiding patients through exercises to improve strength, range of motion, balance, and coordination, preparing therapy equipment, monitoring patient progress, and documenting outcomes. To be successful, you must have strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a healthcare team.

Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients, ensuring adherence to prescribed therapies.
• Monitor patient progress and document changes in their condition.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and care plans to promote recovery.
• Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide effective patient care.

Physical Therapist Assistant Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate from an Accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program and have at a minimum an Associate’s degree.
• Must possess a current MNPhysical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License
• Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
• Strong patient care skills and knowledge of physiology and anatomy
• Proficient in medical terminology and physical therapy techniques
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
