Amity Physical Therapy LLC in Woodbridge, CT is seeking a passionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team. You will work with licensed PTs to help patients regain mobility and improve quality of life in a collaborative clinical setting.

You will guide patients through exercises, monitor progress, educate families on home programs, and maintain a safe treatment environment while adhering to state regulations.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut PTA license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic modalities, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients and clinical staff.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based, patient-centered environment.
• Prior clinical experience or internship in an outpatient or orthopedic setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and rehabilitative techniques.
