Amity Physical Therapy LLC in Woodbridge, CT seeks a passionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team. You’ll work with licensed Physical Therapists to help patients recover, regain mobility, and improve quality of life in a supportive clinical environment.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, guiding therapeutic exercises, monitoring progress, educating patients on home programs, and maintaining a safe, collaborative clinic.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut PTA license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic modalities and rehab techniques.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized PT treatment plans under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and manual therapy.
• Monitor and document patient progress and report updates to the PT.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure continuity of care.
• Adhere to state regulations, clinic policies, and professional standards.
