Job summary

Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team in Worcester. You will provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

The position offers weekly pay with compensation up to $40 per hour and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. New graduates welcome; licensure requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program
• Current licensure by the applicable state agency where required
• CEUs per state licensure requirements
• Newly licensed therapists welcome!
• Prior clinical experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist in the provision, collection of assessment data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Participate in clinical program development and implementation
• Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers
• Monitor efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor
• Document activities according to the company's clinical documentation system on a timely basis
• Demonstrate ability for continuous new learning to remain current in the field

Join our dynamic team at Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). As a PTA, you will play a crucial role in the provision of physical therapy services to our patients, under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Weekly pay up to $40 an hour.

Education & Experience:

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program

• Ability to perform documentation needs, manipulations of equipment, and direct patient care

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage time effectively for self and others
• Ability to deal with a wide range of personality types, ages, and diverse cultural backgrounds
• Ability to articulate and comprehend the English language
