Job summary

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Bonita Springs, FL is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient team. You will work alongside Physical Therapists to carry out treatment plans improving strength, mobility, balance, and overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for Florida licensure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out individualized treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, balance training, gait training, and functional mobility interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates with the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients regarding therapeutic exercises and home exercise programs.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other members of the clinical team.
• Provide a positive, patient-centered experience throughout the course of care.
• Follow applicable professional, ethical, regulatory, and clinic standards.
