Queen Anne Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our interdisciplinary team. The PTA will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to provide rehabilitative services to our residents, aiming to improve mobility, alleviate pain, and enhance overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and execute on established patient treatment plan under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Communicate with patients, families, referring physicians, and other team members.
- Provide timely written documentation per facility and department requirements.
- Develop and enhance clinical and professional skills through knowledge and professional associations.
- Provide timely written documentation as required by insurance providers to meet licensing, certification, regulatory, and reimbursement requirements.
- Support and participate in department operations and development.
- Report any changes in patient status or needs to supervising therapist promptly.
Associated Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit patient charges accurately for billing.
- Meet or exceed productivity standards established with supervisor.
- Ensure safety of self, patients, and others at all times using professional judgment.
- Achieve quality patient care through interdisciplinary communication.
- Attend required meetings as scheduled by the Director of Rehab and/or Supervisor.
- Communicate effectively with therapists regarding patients’ response to treatment.
- Provide constructive feedback to rehab aides.
- Participate in in-services, training sessions, or other educational events.
- Coordinate treatment goals with team members.
- Maintain valid licensure, certification, or equivalent as required by the state.
- Stay informed about patient and community needs, conditions, and programs.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant curriculum.
- Ability to practice unencumbered.
- In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
- Working knowledge of Medicare and other payer sources.
- Full knowledge of resident’s rights.
- Professional presentation.
- Ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, understanding, and communicating in English.
