Job Summary

PRN Physical Therapy is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and rehabilitation services to patients, helping them regain mobility, manage pain, and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities

• Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and goals, utilizing various therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Implement and administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve patients' mobility, strength, flexibility, and function based on each individual patient's needs.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about therapy procedures, home exercises, and injury prevention techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy techniques, technologies, and best practices, integrating them into clinical practice as appropriate.
• Meet patient needs by executing the Plan of Care, including following up with patients if non-compliance occurs.
• Be a team player by utilizing non-clinical staff to support caseload needs.
• Proper delegation and use of PTA when applicable.
• Participate actively in fostering a collaborative culture aligned with our service vision.
• Adapt to changes in patient schedules and daily routines.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments to determine therapy needs and establish treatment goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific conditions and limitations.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities effectively to promote recovery and improve patients' physical well-being.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing education and support throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• CPR certification and other relevant certifications as required by state regulations.
• Strong clinical skills with experience in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric physical therapy (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proficient computer skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting: Capable of lifting and carrying equipment or assisting patients as needed (up to 50 pounds).
